ABOUT US

Sol’s ARC is a registered NGO dedicated to ensuring that every child learns and every adult earns through inclusive education and vocational skilling programs. For more than 20 years, we have partnered with governments, donors, and communities to bring systemic change and equity for individuals with disabilities.
At Sol’s ARC, communication is not “just content”— it is how our impact travels: to families, communities, donors, government partners, employers, and the public. As our programs scale across geographies, we need consistent, high-quality storytelling and digital visibility that strengthens trust, credibility, and inclusion narratives.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on execution role that supports Sol’s ARC’s visibility, storytelling, and day-to-day communications across digital platforms, website, and key written collaterals.
As Communications Executive, you will help translate field impact into clear, accessible, and credible communication that builds community, strengthens brand consistency, and supports partnerships.
You will work closely with internal teams and coordinate with program colleagues to ensure real stories, real outcomes, and real voices are reflected in everything we publish.
You will spend roughly:
  • 35% – Social media execution: Content creation, scheduling, engagement, platform hygiene, and maintaining a consistent voice across channels.

  • 20% – Content development: Case stories from the field, newsletters, website copy, donor/partner-facing content, and presentation support.

  • 15% – Website support: Regular updates, coordination with developers/designers if needed, basic improvements, and content uploads.

  • 15% – Coordination & internal alignment: Collecting stories, data, and visuals from teams; ensuring messaging accuracy and brand consistency across outputs.

  • 10% – Performance tracking & insights: Tracking engagement and reach, analysing what works, and sharing simple, actionable recommendations.

  • 5% – Thought leadership & media support: Supporting blogs, opinion pieces, founder/team voices, and responding to basic media or external communication requests, ensuring Sol’s ARC’s perspective on inclusion and education is represented clearly and responsibly.

What success looks like:
  • Sol’s ARC’s social media presence is consistent, engaging, and aligned to brand and mission

  • Impact stories are collected regularly and published in high-quality formats

  • Website content is updated, accurate, and easy to navigate (basic hygiene maintained)

  • Communications performance is tracked, and improvements are made based on insights

  • Internal teams experience communications as enabling—not chasing—because systems are smooth
